Here's the plan. A large open teaching studio with fireplace and full wall of north facing windows. It will be furnished with easels, tables and chairs, sculpting stands, yoga mats, or whatever you may need. Also housed here is a separate ceramics studio so we can contain the wonderful mess of clay. I am planning a coffee bar and retail space. I'm hoping to support local artists by providing a place they can offer their art. We will set up the space to your liking and work hard to be sure it's everything your group needs.
Art Studio
We have designed 3 large yurts each with 3 bedrooms(one shared, 2 private) 3 luxuriously appointed bathrooms with a comfy living room. There will be coffee/tea set ups and a small fridge in the shared space. Each yurt will be climate controlled and decorated with fine creative touches and antiques. I'll be dropping by each afternoon with a little treat of some sort. Fluffy towels and robes, local organic soaps, huge sky light, and even an outdoor shower with a woodland view! The 3 yurts will share a courtyard overlooking the lake with a fire pit. We can accommodate a total of 12 guests overnight.
My goal is to make you feel pampered and yet adventurous at the same time. You will feel like you're camping, enjoying the outdoors but yet, you'll have all the comforts of a fine resort.

Just like the yurts, when dining you will be enjoying the great outdoors. However, you won't lack for comfort. Our dining pavilion will have a fireplace, space heaters and drop down wind breaks. In the warmer months, we will have fans and misters to keep you nice and comfortable. For food, it's really all up to you! I will hire caterers to suit your taste and budget. We are building a fabulous kitchen for them to utilize and serve from. If you want a food truck, you got it! An Italian chef to teach a meal with wine pairings? Done! If you are working on a tight budget, it's no problem. Vegan? No problem. We will have a rolodex full of catering options to make your event exactly what you require.
Dining Pavilion

How to describe this 98 acres of scenic Virginia? There are miles of hiking trails, hammocks under shade trees, horses to pet, chickens and ducks to play with, a cut flower farm to explore, a 4 acre lake you can fish, campfire rings to enjoy and a big ole lovable dog named Odin. Pretty nice, right? And don't forget, we are minutes from the mountains, loads of local wineries, tubing and kayaking local rivers and we are located half way between Richmond and Charlottesville if you crave civilization.
